Şumuleu Ciuc (Hungarian: Csíksomlyó) is a neighborhood of Miercurea Ciuc. Formerly it was a separate village. It is the place of an annual catholic pilgrimage, when catholics from all over Hungary and Romania gather here.

Red Lake (Romanian Lacul Roşu) or Killer Lake (Hungarian Gyilkos-tó) is a lake in the Eastern Carpathians chain in Harghita County, Romania. The name of "Lacul Roşu" (Red Lake) comes from the reddish alluvia deposited in the lake by the Red Creek.
Băile Tuşnad (Hungarian: Tusnádfürdő) is a city in Harghita County, Romania. With a population of 1,728, it is the smallest city in Romania by population. It is located at an altitude of 650 metres in the southern reaches of the Ciuc depression, between the Harghita and Bodoc mountains, in the valley of the Olt, and is to this day an important spa town.
